YFT utilise specialised equipment to move you’re out of gauge cargo inland including flat rack, flat beds and open top containers. Through our expansive network we are also able to assist with out of gauge packing and crating as well as the securing and lashing of your cargo. Oversized and heavy project cargo related items are expensive. There can be a lot of complex components to project cargo, our team can handle any project.

Flat-rack containers with a strong platform are suitable to carry heavy cargo and oversized cargo such as steel materials and machinery. The lack of sidewalls allows considerable flexibility in loading and is especially useful in transporting long cargoes. Oversized items such as yachts can be stowed on several flat rack containers set side-by-side together on board vessels. It is important to note that the height of the end walls differs between a 40 ft. flat rack (1.943 meters/76.1 inches) and a 20 ft. flat rack (2.231 meters / 91.4 inches). Cargo that may not be over height for a 20 ft. flat rack, May well be over height for a 40 ft. flat rack.
