Vietnam has now agreed a trade deal with Europe this will lift 85% of tariffs against there goods on arrival in to Europe, they will remove the rest of the tariffs over the next seven years. Vietnam will lift 49% of its import duties on European exports to Vietnam, phasing out the rest over the next 10 years. It will also increase export turnover to the EU by around 20% this year and 44% by 2030.

Vietnam is a full member of the WTO and complies with all agreements concerning customs, and health and safety standards. Vietnam's Currency is called the Vietnamese dong and the current exchange rate is 1 GBP = 29,672 VND. Benefit for buyers in the UK is that the GBP is very strong against the fairly weak Dong, meaning that goods can be bought for even cheaper.
